Bill has extensive consulting industry experience, including practice management positions with Ernst & Whinney Consulting (now Cap Gemini), James Martin & Co., and Amdahl/DMR Consulting (now Fujitsu). In between postings in the consulting industry, Bill was a founding executive of KnowledgeWare, acting in key management roles during the period when the firm grew from 18 to over 600 employees over a five-year period. During his career, Bill has built and managed successful consulting organizations in Detroit, Grand Rapids, San Francisco, and Chicago. This experience provides a critical edge in situations where intrinsic knowledge of the management consulting perspective is necessary to identify, evaluate, and present the best candidates.

Bill has placed a variety of senior consulting executives at the President, VP and Partner levels within strategy international strategy & information technology practices. He has also placed executives in senior IT technical positions such as CIO & CTO as well SVP & EVP officers at market leading financial services enterprises. The bulk of Bill's executive search activities over the last twelve years have been centered upon high-level executive placements involving senior executives from internationally known and respected consulting organizations and former consulting executives serving in corporate positions where their consulting skills and wide-ranging client exposure were highly valued.

Bill maintains a contact network that stretches over many years and include clients, colleagues and candidates from professional services and information reliant organizations all over the world. These contacts provide an excellent basis for networking to surface top-tier candidates and to vet the qualifications of proposed candidates during the search process.

Bill has received both his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan.
